Official Mission
"To protect public health, community well-being and the environment as a leader and advocate for the improvement and maintenance of air quality in Lane County.

"LRAPA believes that public education is an integral part of any program if lasting behavioral changes to reduce air pollution are to occur. The Public Affairs section implements the public education program for the agency, which has been designed to match priorities established through a strategic planning process adopted by the LRAPA Board of Directors." — [1]

LRAPA 2010 Budget Process

On April 13, 2009 the LRAPA Budget Committee met to start the consideration of the proposed 2010 organizational budget. Don Hampton was re-elected Budget Committee Chair, and Kevin Matthews was re-elected Vice-Chair.

The next budget committee meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at 11am in the Springfield library meeting room.
